Introduction:   The proceeding received more than 300 full papers from more than 10 countries and regions. Finally, 198 papers from 15 countries or districts have been accepted with the ration of acceptance of 66%. Among all the accepted papers, 148 of them are from domestic areas and 16 of them are from overseas. Over 200 researchers in transportation area participated in the conference. The researchers are mainly from The University of Nebraska Lincoln, University of Calgary, Unversity of Centring Florida, Krakow University of Technology, Poland, University of Regina, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Delft University of Technology, the University of Plymouth, Liverpool John Moore University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China Civil Aviation University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Shanghai Maritime University, and Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport. All the accepted papers have been published and indexed by EI. Excellent papers have been recommended to Journal of Transportation Research: Part F-Traffic Psychology & Behaviour (SCI), International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics (SCI), Journal of Risk and Reliability (SCI), Journal of Transportation Information and Safety.

Introduction:   The proceeding received almost 300 full papers from both domestic and overseas. 75 researchers have been involved in the paper reviewing. Finally, 164 papers from 15 countries or districts have been accepted with the ration of acceptance of 54.67%. Among all the accepted papers, 148 of them are from domestic areas and 16 of them are from overseas. Over 280 researchers in transportation area participated in the conference. The overseas researchers are mainly from The university of California, Berkeley, Cornell University, University of Waterloo, University of Calgary, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Delft University of Technology, the university of Plymouth, Liverpool John Moore University. The domestic researchers are from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China Civil Aviation University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Shanghai Maritime University, and Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport. All the accepted papers have been published and indexed by EI.

Introduction:   The proceeding received 494 paper abstracts and about 400 full papers. 75 researchers have been involved in the paper reviewing. Finally, 339 papers from 15 countries or districts have been accepted with the ration of acceptance of 86.9%. Among all the accepted papers, 299 of them are from domestic areas and 40 of them are from overseas. Until the end of November of 2013, all the accepted papers had been published in Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ISBN:9780784413036) and had been indexed by EI.

Title:    The 1st International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety

Introduction:   The proceeding accepted and published 355 papers from 15 countries. Over 280 researchers from both domestic and other countries in transportation area participated in the conference. Experts and researchers from over 40 foreign universities or institutions have been involved in the conference, including University of California, University of Wisconsin Madison, Northeastern University, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Southampton, PTV, among others. The domestic universities and institutions include Tsinghua University, Jilin University, Tongji University, Southeast University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Institute of Science, Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport, among others. The conference is divided into 13 sessions, with 8 keynote lectures and 25 sub-session reports. 152 authors gave presentations and made discussions on transportation information and safety. All the accepted papers have been published and indexed by EI.
