  摘要:   The urban traffic network of Jinzhou city was split by the Beijing-Shenyang railway. The traffic between railway south and north contacts only by four bridge openings. Traffic congestion is occured. Railway crossing traffic in Jinzhou urban district is analyzed. In order to find the operating characteristics of the north-south traffic and the most crowed bridge opening in the peak, the traffic of bridge openings are analyzed. The geometric characteristics of the crossings are analyzed. Traffic volume of the bridge openings are investigated and analyzed. Peak hour and peak hour traffic volume are found. The saturation degree of the bridge openings are calculated. The study provides basic traffic information for traffic guidance.

   13. Rail Traffic Informatization Applications Based on the IOT

  摘要:   Combined with the state of domestic urban transport development, the advantages of the internet of things (IOT) technology and transportation industry develop- ment trends were analyzed, analysis of our country's basic condition and the breakthrough focus to develop ITS under IOT; the future transport development pattern was proposed. Put forward our country's development strategy of ITS under IOT. It presents intelligent transportation solution based on the architecture of the Internet of things. The pattern was proposed to achieve true in- teroperability of transport based on a unified information collection. The solution gives the capability dispatch, service open environment, terminal management and other functions, to provide reasonable traffic guidance, control and accident treatment. At the same time, it describes the application scene and application case covered by the solution. With the intense competition of transportation, customer has been the very important strategic resources , afford some advice to improve public-oriented Rail Traffic in-formation services. It was briefly addressed the background and necessities of constructing Rail Traffic Information Technology Service Management System, focused on the architecture, function and characters of it .The paper used information collection system for IOT, which web- based, including the implementation of data management services and sensor node's software, the centre server communication with the gateway of sensor network. It has good interactive interface and improve the function modules which can be deployed in different scenarios of things to realize automatic acquisition and terminal handling. On the basis of information collected analyzing the relation between Rail Traffic train plan and transfer plan, taking into comprehensive consideration Rail Traffic economy benefit and passenger service quality, this paper builds mathematics model of passenger transfer plan and puts forward the optimized algorithm based on the block-encoded improved genetic algorithm. The proposed algorithm is able to work out passenger transfer plan rapidly and accurately ,and providing references to passenger flow optimum alternatives.

   17. Effect of Worn Wheel Profile and Primary Stiffness Change on Railway Vehicle Nonlinear Stability

  摘要:   Vehicle hunting stability is closely related to wheel/rail contact characteristics and vehicle mass-stiffness-damping system features. Wheel profile features, such as tread shape, wheel flange shape, wheel diameters and equivalent conicity, which are key factors affecting the wheel/rail contact characteristics, would change during the vehicle operation. Meanwhile, the variations of suspension stiffness or damping also occur. Parameters variations would affect the vehicle safety domain. Based on the actual wheel wear and changes of primary suspension stiffness, the effects on vehicle nonlinear stability are investigated in this paper by a multi-body dynamics simulation software SIMPACK. Wheel profiles were measured in a re-profile interval (around 200,000km) and classified into 5 profile cases S1~S5. Longitudinal stiffness and lateral stiffness are supposed to be in proportion to design values. Considering the idea of orthogonal design, sensitivity of critical speed is quickly analyzed. It is found that wheel wear is more sensitive to critical speed and the effects of the three parameters on critical speed are not the same. For the case of profile S4 or S5, range of longitudinal stiffness should be narrowed in order to keep critical speed at 300km/h and above. The reasonable range of longitudinal stiffness for S4-profile vehicle is the narrowest. Percentage of critical speed decrement caused by worn wheel doesn’t exceed 30%. Adjustment of longitudinal and lateral stiffness can compensate the speed loss. For S4-profile vehicle, stiffness change can compensate loss by 13%. Along with the aggravation of wheel wear, the stability region becomes narrow and the capability of stiffness to compensate speed loss is limited gradually. More attention should be paid to the changes of suspension parameters and wheel profile in vehicle service for the purpose of good stability.

Along with the aggravation of wheel wear, the stability region becomes narrow and the capability of stiffness to compensate speed loss is limited gradually. More attention should be paid to the changes of suspension parameters and wheel profile in vehicle service for the purpose of good stability.

   20. Effect of Worn Wheel Profile and Primary Stiffness Change on Railway Vehicle Nonlinear Stability

  摘要:   Vehicle hunting stability is closely related to wheel/rail contact characteristics and vehicle mass-stiffness-damping system features. Wheel profile features, such as tread shape, wheel flange shape, wheel diameters and equivalent conicity, which are key factors affecting the wheel/rail contact characteristics, would change during the vehicle operation. Meanwhile, the variations of suspension stiffness or damping also occur. Parameters variations would affect the vehicle safety domain. Based on the actual wheel wear and changes of primary suspension stiffness, the effects on vehicle nonlinear stability are investigated in this paper by a multi-body dynamics simulation software SIMPACK. Wheel profiles were measured in a re-profile interval (around 200,000km) and classified into 5 profile cases S1~S5. Longitudinal stiffness and lateral stiffness are supposed to be in proportion to design values. Considering the idea of orthogonal design, sensitivity of critical speed is quickly analyzed. It is found that wheel wear is more sensitive to critical speed and the effects of the three parameters on critical speed are not the same. For the case of profile S4 or S5, range of longitudinal stiffness should be narrowed in order to keep critical speed at 300km/h and above. The reasonable range of longitudinal stiffness for S4-profile vehicle is the narrowest. Percentage of critical speed decrement caused by worn wheel doesn’t exceed 30%. Adjustment of longitudinal and lateral stiffness can compensate the speed loss. For S4-profile vehicle, stiffness change can compensate loss by 13%. Along with the aggravation of wheel wear, the stability region becomes narrow and the capability of stiffness to compensate speed loss is limited gradually. More attention should be paid to the changes of suspension parameters and wheel profile in vehicle service for the purpose of good stability.

   37. Railreader-"MT" Multi-RFID-System Supports High Availability and Safety in Railway Networks

  摘要:   The Motivation: Keeping the technical status of Railway cars at a high level brings benefit for all stakeholders in the railway transport. Maintenance effort for wagon holders and train operators can minimised, stopping trains for checking the cars can be avoided and last not least the infrastructure will be less worn out thus minimising maintenance effort and track closures and maximising throughput and availability of track resources. The check of the actual technical status of a railway car is nowadays done by wayside located measurement equipment measuring “in motion” weight, load distribution, temperatures of bearings and axles, noise and more. If these measurements can be allocated exactly to the specific vehicle or its parts, it is possible to recognise the development of upcoming needs for maintenance at an early stage and appropriate countermeasures can be initiated in time. At the moment this “allocation” is not done and actions are only taken if safety limits are hit by stopping the train, find the wagon and disconnect from the train. All other information is discarded. Using train/wagon identification based on radio frequency identification (RFID) is a cost-efficient and effective way to exactly allocate measurements to a specific wagon, collection of the actual sequence of wagons and also of their running orientation within the train! Therefore it is an appropriate System which can support the above mentioned goals and help increasing safety and availability of all resources. The system concept: When the train is passing by, a small and easy to be installed RFID-Transponder on the wagon is transmitting its information comprising the wagon number and optional also technical data like number of axles, load limits, dimensions and weights, to a wayside located reader. This reader generates a report of all collected data and allocates this information to the specific railway cars in the measured train. This information is then combined with results delivered by the wayside monitoring systems or other logistic relevant information sources and transmitted to the recipients. The challenges: There are different RFID technologies available which are parallel used in this sector of identification: passive RFID transponder which are cheap but has no own energy source and are therefore limited in the amount of information being transmitted at the passing speeds of 80km/h and up to more than 230 km/h - and active RFID transponder which are operating using a internal battery which can transmit much more information not influenced by the passing speed but are limited in their lifetime of up to 10 years. As the reliability of detection at full line speed is a key factor for the usability and is requested to be 99.96% the actual reliability is much depending on the used technology and passing speed. The solution: The developed “Railreader-MT” system and concept can handle various RFID technologies at the same time and prepares a harmonized summary report of all readings exactly allocated to each wagon in the train. Also a white paper is available, describing which information shall be programmed in the RFID wagon unit depending of the used RFID technology and how shall this information being structured. So all used RFID technologies (passive and active) and their differences in amount and structure of wagon-related data can be handled. Furthermore all relevant railway standards are covered. The innovation: The innovation of “Railreader-MT”- concept and system lays in the combination of several RFID technologies into one fully autonomous reader system and in the overlaying systems concept of how information is further being handled. So users are not fixed to only one technology and can use RFID transponder which suits best to their needs and budget. The wayside reader can be used for detection of vehicles equipped with different transponders and the resulting report is independent to the used RFID technology. Also all requirements of the various stakeholders can be fullfilled by generation of an harmonised summary report of detection results immediately after passage of the train without any need of call backs to remote databases or else. This report is being selectively distributed to the authorised recipients. The results: The Railreader-MT supports: - Allocation of measurements describing the actual technical status of a wagon exactly to the specific wagon of its parts - Detection the actual sequence of wagons within a train - Detection of the running orientation of each identified wagon within a train - Detection of a train approaching to the terminal or towards a border crossing - Dispatching of trainand more. With that information, the above mentioned goals can be achieved: - Better and earlier planning of maintenance ( e.g. reducing cost of maintenance) - Confirmation of the good technical shape of a railcar (reduction of track fees) - Maximizing the availability of railway vehicles (minimizing fleet size) - Maximizing track availability by optimisation of track maintenance and less wearing of the tracks due to the all-over better shape of vehicles in the net. Also further value added potential can be raised as pre arrival message to border stations, loading preplanning optimisation at terminals and more. The system works fully independent of any signalling system, can use alternate power sources and needs no contact to any third party equipment for getting all information needed. It can offer fast and reliable identification of rolling stock of any kind being accurately identified at every driven speed up to 230km/h+ and more! The “Railreader-MT” is successfully implemented in Austria and currently being extended throughout Europe.

The innovation: The innovation of “Railreader-MT”- concept and system lays in the combination of several RFID technologies into one fully autonomous reader system and in the overlaying systems concept of how information is further being handled. So users are not fixed to only one technology and can use RFID transponder which suits best to their needs and budget. The wayside reader can be used for detection of vehicles equipped with different transponders and the resulting report is independent to the used RFID technology. Also all requirements of the various stakeholders can be fullfilled by generation of an harmonised summary report of detection results immediately after passage of the train without any need of call backs to remote databases or else. With that information, the above mentioned goals can be achieved: - Better and earlier planning of maintenance ( e.g. reducing cost of maintenance) - Confirmation of the good technical shape of a railcar (reduction of track fees) - Maximizing the availability of railway vehicles (minimizing fleet size) - Maximizing track availability by optimisation of track maintenance and less wearing of the tracks due to the all-over better shape of vehicles in the net. Also further value added potential can be raised as pre arrival message to border stations, loading preplanning optimisation at terminals and more. The system works fully independent of any signalling system, can use alternate power sources and needs no contact to any third party equipment for getting all information needed. It can offer fast and reliable identification of rolling stock of any kind being accurately identified at every driven speed up to 230km/h+ and more! At the moment this “allocation” is not done and actions are only taken if safety limits are hit by stopping the train, find the wagon and disconnect from the train. All other information is discarded. Using train/wagon identification based on radio frequency identification (RFID) is a cost-efficient and effective way to exactly allocate measurements to a specific wagon, collection of the actual sequence of wagons and also of their running orientation within the train! Therefore it is an appropriate System which can support the above mentioned goals and help increasing safety and availability of all resources. The system concept: When the train is passing by, a small and easy to be installed RFID-Transponder on the wagon is transmitting its information comprising the wagon number and optional also technical data like number of axles, load limits, dimensions and weights, to a wayside located reader. This reader generates a report of all collected data and allocates this information to the specific railway cars in the measured train. This information is then combined with results delivered by the wayside monitoring systems or other logistic relevant information sources and transmitted to the recipients. The challenges: There are different RFID technologies available which are parallel used in this sector of identification: passive RFID transponder which are cheap but has no own energy source and are therefore limited in the amount of information being transmitted at the passing speeds of 80km/h and up to more than 230 km/h - and active RFID transponder which are operating using a internal battery which can transmit much more information not influenced by the passing speed but are limited in their lifetime of up to 10 years. As the reliability of detection at full line speed is a key factor for the usability and is requested to be 99.96% the actual reliability is much depending on the used technology and passing speed. The solution: The developed “Railreader-MT” system and concept can handle various RFID technologies at the same time and prepares a harmonized summary report of all readings exactly allocated to each wagon in the train. Also a white paper is available, describing which information shall be programmed in the RFID wagon unit depending of the used RFID technology and how shall this information being structured. So all used RFID technologies (passive and active) and their differences in amount and structure of wagon-related data can be handled. Furthermore all relevant railway standards are covered. The new method is presented for the analysis of complex dynamic systems which is based on partitioning the system degrees of freedom into a ‘‘global’’ set and a ‘‘local’’ set. The global equations of motion are formulated and solved in a standard deterministic manner, although due account is taken of the presence of the local degrees of freedom via an approach which is analogous to fuzzy structure theory. The local equations of motion are formulated and solved by using statistical energy analysis (SEA). The power input from the global degrees of freedom. This paper deduces the theory for the beam element , and a rail system provides an initial application, and it is shown that the method yields very good results from low to high frequency excitation.

First, this paper analyzes the advanced real-time passenger flow detection technology, and grasps the demand of urban rail transit operation and management, based on making full use of “Perception-Transmission-Analysis-Application” Principle in Internet of Things, urban rail transit safe operation & management system and technology was put forward. Secondly, in support of the statistical data of real-time passenger flow information at the platform, transfer channel and import & export etc., the system can distinguish emergencies dynamically, such as congestion, aggregation and retention. Especially, it activates emergency response decision support, matching with different early warning level. Finally, it’s successfully applied in Dongzhimen interchange station, which is an important transportation hub in Beijing, the result shows that the system can monitor, predict and handle passenger traffic congestion and other emergency incidents. The technology can improve the level of safe operation and management.
